Volatility in the Metal Markets
Commodities seem to be pulling back a little this morning after a big jump yesterday. Gold is currently down around $16.00 to $1630 and silver is down $0.40 to $29.75. Oil fell from $103 a barrel yesterday to $98 right now. Interesting, considered the problems currently taking shape in the Middle East, especially with Iran threatening to shutdown the Strait of Hormuz.
Even with the small pull back today, metals are up for the week. It’s still a great time to liquidate any extra gold jewelry scrap you might have lying around, or that sterling silver flatware set that’s collecting dust in the closet. We’re very competitive and would love to offer you a quote for your precious metal items.
